Introducing Firewik

For those of you who, like me, started building your app or blog with WordPress, then wished you could transform it to a modern web and mobile app, Firewik, the culmination of over two years of research and development, will not only save your spirit, but also your dream.

Firewik is a system I have designed from the ground up to create a fully synchronized relationship between WP and Firebase, so that your data and content can be delivered in realtime with the look and feel of a modern app. Built on top of React Native and React Native for Web, Firewik is a modern front end powered by Firebase, and can be managed from your WP dashboard. With a set of custom cloud functions, all of your endpoints can be sent to Firestore as they are updated in WP, including any BP data, community data, and any of the endpoints created by plugins or custom post types. In the end you will have a cross-platform mobile app for Android and IOS and an identical web app. Instant push notifications, media transformation, reel-styled video screens, web stories, instant books, and even a community app builder come standard in all Firewik setups.

Feel free to play around on Wik Beta and join our community. As an independent project, this library will not be released on GitHub and will be exclusive to members of Wikacy.com and The Wikacy Project.

Our goal is to give the small and independent developers, artists, publishers, and creators of all kinds the same tools available to the giant corporations. You have the dream and the vision, let us give you a powerful tool of distribution with Firewik!
